Welcome! Peruse this site to learn more about America’s Super PACs. This blog was created by four journalism students attending the University of Cincinnati.
Becky Butts is a third year journalism student attending the University of Cincinnati. The youngest of five, she was born and raised in Cincinnati, OH with her brothers, sisters, and three adorable wiener dogs. She is a huge nerd whose favorite hobbies include reading, writing, and singing (badly) in her car. As a news junkie, Becky hopes to write for the New York Times or Washington Post one day (those are her favorite papers to read) but would be happy landing any journalism job she can get.
Ally Reuther is a third year journalism student at the University of Cincinnati. A life-long Ohioan, she grew up in Madeira, Ohio where she lived with her parents, two older sisters, and one not-so-little brother until she decided to become a Bearcat and moved to school. After finishing her wonderful education at UC, Ally wants to write for a daily newspaper, hopefully in some sunny city. Eventually, after gaining some writing experience, she hopes to put her minor in history to work and do something that combines both writing and history.
Sarah Coressel is a fourth year journalism student at the University of Cincinnati, a member of the Ohio Air National Guard, and a waitress. Sarah was born in Springfield, Ohio and lived in the same house with both parents and an older brother and sister until moving to Cincinnati for college. As an aspiring journalist, Sarah is hoping to join the Peace Corps after graduation and use her writing to inform the world of feminist issues in other countries.
Maria Roos is a fourth year journalism student with a certificate in international human rights at the University of Cincinnati. She is a native of Sweden, but she came to the US because of the great opportunity of combining academics and sports. Maria plays golf for the University’s golf team and in the future she hopes to become a professional golfer. She enjoys reading, watching movies, slacklining, playing the violin and hanging out with friends. After college, she wants to combine traveling and writing while working in the human rights field.
